Twitter/X Engagement Intern

  • Ability to live-tweet games and react to breaking news in real-time
  • Understanding of what makes tweets go viral (timing, framing, controversy)
  • Available during key game times (nights and weekends)

Content & Graphics Intern

Fundraising & Investment Relations Contractor

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute fundraising strategy (seed round, angel investors, VC outreach)
  • Build investor pitch deck and financial projections
  • Identify and reach out to relevant investors in sports media and tech
  • Manage investor pipeline and coordinate meetings with leadership
  • Negotiate term sheets and investment agreements
  • Build relationships with potential strategic partners and sponsors
  • Track fundraising progress and report to leadership team
  • Assist with business development and partnership opportunities

What We Look For

  • 3+ years experience in fundraising, venture capital, or investment banking

Social Media Coordinator

We're looking for a creative, sports-obsessed Social Media Coordinator to own and grow our presence across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and emerging platforms. You'll be the voice of The Sideline online -- crafting content that gets fans engaged, sparks debate, and grows our community.

What You Will Do

  • Plan, create, and publish daily content across all social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads)
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with the college sports cycle (game days, transfer portal windows, recruiting, etc.)
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments/DMs, and foster community growth
  • Monitor trending sports topics and create timely, relevant content that capitalizes on viral moments
  • Collaborate with editorial and design to repurpose blog articles, hot takes, and data visuals into social-first content
  • Track analytics and report on growth, engagement, and content performance weekly
  • Identify and pitch new content formats, series ideas, and platform strategies
  • Coordinate with brand partners on sponsored content deliverables when applicable

What We Look For

  • Deep knowledge of college football, NFL, NBA, and sports culture
  • 1-2+ years managing social media accounts (personal sports pages count if they have real traction)
  • Strong writing skills with a knack for punchy, engaging copy
  • Experience with short-form video creation (Reels, TikToks) -- filming and basic editing
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines without constant oversight
  • Finger on the pulse of sports media trends, memes, and internet culture
  • Bonus: experience with Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite for quick graphic creation

Compensation

Competitive stipend + equity/revenue share for the right candidate. This is a ground-floor opportunity at a fast-growing sports media brand.
